My Power Intention of 2025 is Courage so I am using this inspiration to break free from what I have been doing the last 10+ years in my business and life and be open to the possibilities that lay ahead when you take a left instead of go straight.
Newness can be scary, but the good kind of scary. As Taurus, I am naturally prone to steep in comfort; however, I am craving a fresh reset. How about you?
Even though I have had this Subtack for over a year, I am excited to play with it in a new way. I am excited to connect and serve you in a new way!
Every week, I will be sharing bite-size ways we can slow down, notice and pay attention together.
One thing is for sure, the world is getting louder with faster paced societal, economic, environmental and political shifts.
Now more than ever, the practice of claiming our own attention is so needed. Otherwise, our own thoughts, emotions and headlines will pull us into chaos of confusion.
I am here to walk beside you, guiding and supporting us in embracing mindful moments to ground ourselves in the present. This is a radical act of self-care.
This Week’s Practice:
I welcome you to slow down and bring your attention to the earliest signs of spring that are around you in the northern hemisphere.
Take a walk in your neighborhood or look out your window. Be delightfully surprised at the resilient life you can slowly watch budding.
Walking around Amsterdam, I loved witnessing these tiny flowers unfold. For me, witnessing the micro acts of rebirth occur in the depths of winter is a reminder how growth is slow and steady. Life blooms in harsh conditions and is constantly changing. I am filled with inspiration at nature’s resilience.
Reflection Questions:
Share with me in the comments below.
What signs of spring do you notice?
What lessons is nature teaching you, right now?
Why is claiming your own attention important to you?
What area of your life is calling for some courage to change?
This reminds me of our conversation on walking and mindfulness. How exciting you saw these first beautiful buds of spring in Amsterdam! I’m savoring the slightly earlier sunrises in Seattle.
